Griechisch: "Erkenne Dich selbst!" - Römischer Offizier zu Quadratus. Allerdings weiß der Offizier selbst nicht, was er zitiert - (XVII/15)
Am Eingang zum Orakel von Delphi soll dieser Mahnspruch gestanden haben. Seine Blütezeit hatte das Orakel im 6. und 5. Jahrhundert vor Christi Geburt. Überliefert ist das Original vom griechischen Philosophen Sokrates (470 - 399 v.Chr.).

.........wobei ich hoffe daß meiner Maus die "Qual" der toten Sprachen erspart bleibt und sie stattdessen was Sinnvolles lernen kann.

Cuba och das mit den Sprachen hängt ja davon ab, auf welche Schule du sie bringst
