Bevor ich das zweitschnellste suche, hätte ich aber gerne von bambam sein ok, dass wir von derselben Sache reden... denn natürlich sind Katamarane bzw. Trimarane viel schneller als klassische Segelschiffe wie die Mir oder die Sedow...

micky ähm.... kauf dir mal ne Brille... es ging um die schnellsten SEGELschiffe...
Pebbles ich gebs auf mit der Suche nach den schnellsten 'klassischen' Segelschiffen... jede Quelle sagt was anderes.... immerhin sagt eine Quelle aus. die 'Mir' sei es und gibt auch eine Segelfläche von 2257,0 qm an.... die anderen Schiffe zähl ich nicht alle auf. da stand auch keine segelfläche bei...

es gibt segelschiffe mit einer segelfläche von ca 3500 bis 4000 m²
und da es von deren güte zwei gibt die sich auch noch immer gestritten haben welches das schnellste ist fragte ich eben nach diesen zwei
ein katamaran oder trimaran ist für mich kein segelschiff sondern aus verschiednen typen zusammengefügt aus der unkippbarkeit der katamarane der südsee und den segeleigenschaften der segelschiffe
nachtrag(hab erst gelesen das du aufgibst:
die schnellsten zwei segelschiffe waren die "cutty sark" und die "thermophylae", von ihren eigenschaften her reine segelschiffe mit der unterbezeichnung clipper.
reine segelfläche der drei masten ca 3000 m² und inkl klüver, stag und gaffel ca 3500 bis 4000m² ( da streiten sich die gelehrten)
